Project of restoration and adaptation historic building "Dom V.M.Korzinina"
for hostel and capsule hotel in Saint-Petersburg
The main objective of the project was the restoration of a historic building built in 1903-1904 with conservation of eclectic details of the facades and interiors and adaptation for aims of creating spaces for modern hostel, hotel and also art-hotel with capsules and special design and services in them.
Before designing survey works and scanning of the building structures were carried out. This gave opportunity to highlight historic details in spaces for adaptation that were carefully restored and used in interior design on the next stage.
The author's supervision was carried out by the client's service, so photos of the results of the completed project work are not included.
